It's clear. Thai are have been ripping Khmer apart due to Khmerboi/Nagaprincess constant trolling on thai forum. You couldn't handle that ur people were getting own. Cambodians, compared to Thais and Laotians, held the most bitter perception towards Vietnamese. Many believe that we are day by day gradually grabbing their land. Some even truly believe that we killed millions of Cambodians and then skillfully framed it on the Khmer Rouge.

They accuse the Vietnamese government of mistreating the Khmer Krom people. When we don't open new schools near the KK communities, they'd say we are depriving these people of education. When we do create favorable conditions for the young KK people to go to school, they'd say we are trying to brainwash and mentally poison them. They in the other hand give Vietnamese in Cambodia one heck of a hard time and cheer at their government for banning Vietnamese, even those born inside Cambodia, from getting legal residence status (don't even talk about citizenship). No residency means no land right, no school, and many other forms of deprivation. That's why you see Vietnamese in Cambodia living on water instead of land.

Btw, "thang" not "thanh". "Thang" is an indicative word addressing a male person.

Last I check, there hundreds of thousands Viets living in Cambodia. Where are these Viet people from and was there ever a government backed policy for settlement on Cambodian land? I mean it's probably natural for them to feel resentment towards us...I'd be too if the Chinese started picking our random cities to settle.

My mom said when the vietnamese came into Cambodia in 1979 that they were nice and gave the kids rice whenever they asked probably because they know what we have been through, but when she got to Khao I Dang she said the thai people there gave cambodians a dirty look and they would beat and kill people who left the camp to get goods to sell in the camp most of the khmer refugee seem to be more scared of the thai during that time.
Then agian she said thai people from the villages and towns would trade and sell products with eachother.As of right now cambodians and vietnamese seem to get well pretty long like in phnom penh they don't seem to be bothering eachother. Ahaha seems like we talk more bad things about thai even though we buy and watch there product.

I'm favour of vietnamese. Sure they jerks but they say it how it is.

if you ask them...
Viets will say- "yeah we took your land, if you want it back, come and get it if you can."
Thais will say- "We want our land back, it belongs to our ancestor, well... that's what our history book tells us. if it doesn't then we'll rewrite it so it does."

Hey I'm just saying. That's the different between Vietnamese and Thailand in reply to the thread. Vietnamese history is what you see is what you get, good or bad, they say it how it is. Thai history on the other hand... we don't know, what they say doesn't even fit in history. I mean in an old Thailand Propaganda film they even claimed to conquer all of seasia peninsula including all of Vietnam at one point. I pretty sure that's a lie.

In the end I'm just saying, What Vietnam will tell you is more reliable than what thailand will tell you. Sure they were jerks but with Vietnam it's like "Yeah we did that, so what are you going to do about it?"
