Especially the Springfield mixing bowl area, it's gotta kinda better with all the construction and renovation. But northern Virginia has the worst traffic congestion and gridlock in the nation. It's bad here, no wonder people get road rage and whatnot.
kunomchu, I hope you are kidding when you say the only interesting thing consists of Springfield Mall! That place is full of wannabe gangstas and white kids tryna be thugs. And all those goth kids walking around with their sullen stoned-faces give me the creeps. The only good thing about this area is that you can be in DC or Maryland within half an hour (if you speed) if you can't stand to be in this state whenever you feel like. |

I live in the southwest area of Virgnia. It's country, but it has many of it's rich areas along with the trailers and farms.

I'm from Los Angeles, but I'll be staying in Arlington for most of the summer. Anyone live nearby or near DC?

I live like 2 minutes from there. In the late 90's it was a huge hang out spot for teens, but now it barely gets any business and all the stores are ghetto except for Express, Aeropostle and Fancy World. Tyson's on the other hand I LOVE. |
