The autopsy results of a man allegedly hit and killed by a car driven by Korean pop star Daesung will be released next week, police said.

Daesung, a member of the Korean pop idol group Big Bang, allegedly ran over the motorcyclist who was lying on the street late at night on May 31.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, but whether he died after he was run over by Daesung’s car or before hasn’t been confirmed yet.

The autopsy - key to prove what caused his death - was supposed to be released on Wednesday, but the National Forensic Service postponed the announcement to allow more time for careful analysis.

The result will reveal the time of death, which will decide whether the motorist was killed by Daesung’s car or if the accident happened prior to the collision, and determine the extent of the punishment Daesung will receive.

Police said they are informed by the forensic team that no hit-and-run accident was confirmed prior to Daesung’s accident and traces of alcohol were found in the motorist’s blood.

The vehicle, driven by the 22-year-old pop singer, allegedly hit both the man who was lying on the road and a taxi driver who had left his vehicle to check on the motorcyclist on the Yanghwa Bridge in Seoul at around 1:30 a.m. on May 31.

The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene while the taxi driver suffered minor injuries.

Anyways, Daesung already went to the motorcyclist's funeral. Poor guys though, daesung was really shaken up and isolated himself in his room. I hope he is doing ok now
