yeah hopefully. I'm sure there is still a few left. I noticed that the spammers got smart. They would register and idle the account for months and then start mass spamming. But at least now no NEW spammers can get through. The bad side is that there will probably people who are too lazy to email us to join the forum.

you sure can! I'm weeding out the few remaining spammers. I'm sure there is a few more hiding. They tend to post 3 months down the line. Like the recent spammers registered in Feb 2012. So I'm expecting a few more to come out of hiding the next 2-3 months before we fully get rid of them all. But even if those few remaining spammers do post, it wouldn't be as bad as what it was the past few months.

This doesn't look good because I saw a topic in Chinese Chat about opening up another Asian forum due to the spam mess better do a mass email to tell them its over.

Edit: saw it in April or May. Also the report function keeps getting database error when I press the submit button to report a spammer.

Yes, I know about the other forum. It is very slow there but still much better than it is here.
There hardly ever any members back here to post or read posts or whatever.

And, there is still problems with spammers.

I hope this community revives back as it once was, maybe even larger.
S00MPI is infected with viruses so I had nowhere to go to talk about Asia. My vaccine program kept detecting trojan viruses everytime I went to that site.
