Hello,
I'm planning a 2 weeks trip to NYC with my husband. We're from French Guiana and it will be our fisrt time in NY. Do you have any advice for me ? I have to rent an appartment or hotel for 2. Any hmong from NYC ? Thanks for your help |

less than 800 euros for 2 weeks so around $1100.
I saw some adresses, all in manhattan but don't know which one to choose. It's always better to have some advice from people who live there. Are you from New York ? |

So do I. Manhattan is expensive ... especially going the normal hotel or motel route. If you had friends you could stay with or maybe find one of those apt/hotels I keep hearing about then you might be able to find a room for a few hundred dollars for the two weeks that you are jere Good luck though Still you should check with hotel sites and what not .. to see what is available. |

I was thinking about staying in New Jersey or Brooklyn.
are New Jersey and Brooklyn nice places to stay ? and safe ? Do you know NYhabitat ? Craiglist ? AirBnB ? Is it safe to rent an appartment with them ? |

Definitely not in manhattan for $1100. NJ and BK is ok.. depends on the area. Certain area are not safe at all. I never tried any apartment sites for NY.. since i live in NY heh
