Do you think Angkor Wat....

Do you think Angkor Wat could've been built by Khmers. I meant how can khmers built such sophisticated structure? I think it must have been built by the indians. what do you guys think?

I think the Indian Brahmins who were the ones built it. Surely the natives couldn't have been that advance to build such huge pile of rubble.

If I not wrong those who built Angkor wat have a great skill in Architech and mathmatric ,and on that time I guess a whole temple was builted by Man power. How strong d people in d past icon_confused.gif

Angkor wat was built by Cambodian. Do you think Pho or whatever noodles was made by those stupid looking dumb brain Vietnamese? I think Chinese made them all and pass it to those dumb Vietnamese and the name was transferred to Pho and became Vietnamese.

I don't think the Vietnamese can invented any foods beside the mixed of Chinese and Khmer krom.

when talking about the ancient temple,we only focus on just angkor wat but khmer have lots of simular temples all over the country. we're khmers are not stupid you know.

The builders could have been a mixture of Cambodians and Javanese.

I've always thought that Jayavarman was Javanese and Cambodia and Thailand were part of a Javanese kingdom...

The ancient city of Angkor including Angkor Wat istelf were built by indianized khmers. I think a lot of people mistake Khmers in ancient times and the Khmers of today. We were a heavily hindu state, but abandoned it and adopted Theravada buddhism after the collapse of Angkor. This is probably why most people argue that the original creators weren't Khmers, hence the fabrication of Khom and Khamen.

The Great angkor wat was built and engineered by the Khmer Empire and the citizenry that lived inside the vast expanse of that empire.

It is the jewel of Cambodia.
