i never actaully read the manga of chobits but i saw the anime. it was really funny and kawaii. if you have a chance or if you haven't yet you should really watch the anime if you enjoyed the book. besides chii is so kawaii!!!!! kya!!!!!

I just finished the manga and it was SOOO CUTE! Wow. And that story book that was inside of the manga was adorable. I loved the lesson that was taught. Now I want to find someone "just for me" hehehe. And I want to make a xanga skin based on the "book" inside of Chobits. Anyone want to help?

I watched it some 2 years ago..it's about like..robots that look exactly like humans...there is a special type called a "chobit" which a guy found in a dumpster, some other stuff happened which I didn't get to see...so someone pls recap for me

lol. I'll try to recap. The manga.
This guy, Hideki, is a nice guy, but he can't seem to find a girlfriend. And he's pretty broke, like a normal college guy [i guess]. And so he works at this restaurant. One night, after work, he sees this persocom in the dumpster area. A persocom is a computer/robot that is like a person. They look completely like people except for their ears which are big and stick outta the side of their head, and almost everyone has one, except him because he can't afford one. So he thinks it's his fortune for finding this persocom in the trash. He takes it home, and tries to figure out how to start it. He's totally computer-illiterate, so he has a really hard time doing it. He looks everywhere to see where to start her. [persocoms can be guys or girls] He starts her up, but she has no accompanying hardware, so she has to "learn" everything. He names her Chi because that's the only thing that she can say. There's all this other stuff that happens, but I'm too lazy to explain. The main point of this is for Chi to find "someone just for me[her]" because that was why she was made. It's really about love. It's very cute. I recommend it a lot!

Really enjoyed the Anime.
If you enjoyed the anime series as well, you shouldnt miss to get Chibits aka Chobits Special.

OMG! Chobits is the cutest manga!! I watched the last episode of it in anime, and I haven't finished reading all the manga yet ^^;; I think CLAMP did a great job on Chobits~! It's one of my favorite manga series ^-^
