So I got this thing for my scubie, and I know how to use it, but does anyone out there have a lot of experience with it? I reflashed my ECU the other night, to stage 1, and the power difference was very noticeable, but the engine was very loud, is that normal??? I was told that after a week the car should be running fine and loving the $hit. Just wondering that's all..

idk, bout the loud noise, but you should always get a custom tune with your ap. their off the shelf map is not very safe. i think, your car might be knocking because of the off the shelf map from them. thumbsdown.gif i'd suggest you stop driving your car, untill you get a custom tune,or your engine will be gone.

unless you are getting knocks (which i doubt you would from the most basic base map tune), you got nothing to worry about.

Nah, not knocks or anything, just sounds different from what I'm used to, box engines sound different from inlines and V's.. I got a custom tune from Perrin, so it's all good. Right now I have it tuned for fuel economy, and holy cow that $hit works lol, I'm getting an extra 4 miles in city, and 7-8 on highway. Going to tune it to stage 1 after I get all my parts.
