Issan dialect is slightly different from nothern Dialect. Issan dialect sounds more like "Eyang" where nothern Dialect would sound more like "unyung" Why do you think he had to sound like Lao dialect? do you think Lao is the only Tai dialect? rofl |

thai don't have "ny" only "y" 's sound I guess modern Thai language has changed into a Chinese sound. Instead of Ny, they use Y because of the laziness of the Thai or Jek Thai trying to change Thai original to make it sound more chinese. Modern Thai pronunciation now sound like Chinese because of Jek Thai manipulation of the sankrit an pali language. |

Laotians, French, Italians, Burmese, Cambodians, Spanish, and I believe Vietnamese (not sure) all have the NY sound and many if not all also have the Y sound, but Thais are unable to pronounce NY and can only make the simple Y sound. LOL!
In Laotian, we have two different words such as Nyaa and Yaa, but in Thai those two different words would be pronounced as Yaa. Thais can't pronounce Ny like Europeans, Latin Americans, and many Asians. The Spanish Aņo (year) would be pronounced as Ayo in Thai. |

Lao language don't have ch sound, r sound and diphthong. Which is more stupid language? Thai is more stupid because Thai script does not match how Thais actually pronounce their words. Please prove to us that we don't have R sound. We know how to speak our own language and yes, we have R sound, but we don't go crazy with it. We don't have a speech impediment. We also have CH, but we prefer to pronounce it as S and only say CH when necessary. I don't know where you live, but CH is an easy sound to make, but too much of it sounds funny. And dipthongs? Do you realize what dipthongs are? They're just two consonants next to one another. Prove to us that Laotian language does not have consonants side by side. Again, excessive use of dipthongs in tonal languages sound funny. Which language is stupid and funny? Now do you know how to speak Spanish properly or do you change NY sound to Y like other thais? The nasalized NY sound of the Laotians is so fugling funny and redneck sound. Bangkokians can't stand of this bannork sound. And I don't think the Laotian NY is close to any of Latin-based languages becuz the Laotians have the most flattest noses in this world
All Laotian dialects of Laos are to much hillbilly to me, the Bangkokian. |

Savannah b!tch prefers Kuay (PENIS) to Kwai (BUFFALO), becuz Lao language has no Kw sound. Thats why she love BUTT-HURTING.

Your pretty retarded arent you? in thai it would be turned into a 2 syllable word An-Yo rather than just keeping it as 1 syllable. Savan once again proves that he knows absolutely fu-k all about Thai language and culture lol Well done Savan. Maybe you should actually learn how to speak Lao properly first before commenting on language lol Its obvious you speak Lao with an american accent lol You cant read or write Lao script either. So what do you know? lol |

Ive never met people this stupid before lol its almost jaw dropping on how stupid people can be. No wonder thai word for stupid is "Lao" lol it makes so much sense. |

A similar sound exist, just not in the initial position. How do Thais say Kanya (virgin), Sannya (mark), Pannya, etc. Personally, I think Ny sounds horrible because it's nasal. In Khmer, I guess we borrow the word 'smile' from Laos instead of Thai, and it ends up being nyo-nyim, so friggin hard to say when Yim sounds nicer. Such an ignorant statement!!! we could pronouce both Yaa and Nyaa( without those nosalized sound, coz we find it rather funny!lolz) งา (NYAA)= sesame and tusk ยา(YAA)= medicine Next time you do some research before say'n something that foolish...
