Malay Patani @ Pattani

Timeline : 16th, 17th & 18th Century

Style : East Coast Malay Peninsular (Malay Royal Court)

From Movie ''The Queen Of Langkasuka''

The Queen is wearing a costume in the traditional "Cik Siti Wan Kembang" style, complete with kain limar and songket. The movie accurately portrays cultural ties with East Coast Malay Peninsular.

More from Laos:

What occasion would Lao women wear the style on the right? Cos it's rare to see that style in Lao. Cambodia has it too, but only palace women wear that (and the cloth is pleated). And for Thai, they wear that a lot for dance.

From South Sumatra, Indonesia

Wedding dress in Lahat style, South Sumatra.

Aesan Gede, the Srivijayan style dress, Palembang.

Palembang in South Sumatra was the former seat of Srivijaya Empire. The rich gilded costumes of Palembang describe its Srivijayan heritage.

Most Asian traditional clothes are beautiful. My favorites are Qipao, Hanfu, and of course Áo Dài
Qipao is sexy
Hanfu is elegant
Áo Dài is graceful and charming.

Qipao

Hanfu

Áo Dài
