Ethnic makeup of Mindanao

Yo is it true that most people from Mindanao these days are migrants from Visayas/Luzon? I looked up some province from Wikipedia and says that the people therespeak languages that came from Luzon/Visayas while only a few speak a Mindanaoan language.
