I am a Canadian who is interested in teaching english abroad, especially in countries like Mongolia, Tibet and other places in East and south-east Asia. Does anyone know a good place to start? Are there any Canadian or international agencies where it would be good to enquire? Maybe even a place where people who have done this relate their experiences, good or bad, doing overseas teaching?

Im also canadian. I was offered several jobs in Mongolia over the last year so they do exist. Not many but they are there. I decided in the end to switch from the classroom to online teaching and also help new teachers wanting to teach in Japan with resumes, job searches etc.

I have taught for over 20 years including years in Tokyo classrooms. Do you have any experience teaching,
a bachelors degree in any area? A resume suitable for Asian countries?
