I'm a business student, but I can't see myself majoring in Accounting, although almost everyone I know is planning to do just that. Accounting is a very useful and practical major, truth be told. It's also very boring, but if I could force myself to...I'd take it up. I just can't, however. I sometimes wish I was one of those people who had a genuine passion for it...I know a guy who told me that he honestly loved accounting. Made me envy him.

I think you would make a good wife. I like women who have their own lives and their own career. The good things in life are only good if you work for them.

Haha, you're right. I'm going into marketing and international business. It's easy to figure what I want to do since the opposite of accounting would be marketing, huh? I'm not sure about it being "fun" though. Exciting, probably...but I also heard that it's really difficult. You gotta have thick skin and a smooth tongue. I'm good with one on one conversations, but I'm still a bit shy. I guess I'll get better with more experience?

Depends on what you're good at and what you find interesting. I don't like math so an accountant job would be boring to me although I have a friend who is a CPA and she seems to love it.

Besides, any job is boring after awhile. Maybe this is why I switch mine like every year.

Did you know there's actually a library science / librarian degree? Talk about a niche...

Come to think of it, I had an old colleague who's goal was to become a librarian -- she actually fit the bill to a T.

A pharmacist.

All they do is count pills all day. However, their starting salary is damn high.

They don't count pills all day. Retail (chain stores) pharmacy is crazyyyyyy! They are constantly verifying Rxs, getting hollered at when the customers' insurance act up, and fixing all the errors doctors and pharmacy technicians make. It's a very hectic and stressful profession. Hospital pharmacists don't count pills, the technicians count pills. They get paid at a high salary because of all the schooling.
