One thing I notice when I visit Vancouver is that there are a tonne of Indians, and a tonne of Chinese people, but the two groups never interact. Its like, India/China thing going on. Two neighboring communities that have all of the chance to interact and mingle, yet don't. Though I did see a Chinese style Indian food restaurant in Surrey embarassedlaugh.gif.

Of course because these two groups don't share anything in common.

If a Chinese guy spends time hanging around Indian girls then Indian dudes will be pissed off.

Why not both?

Not all Indian dudes, but just the ones related to the girl. They'll probably send a Thug to assassinate her boyfriend (note that the original Thugs were Indian).

Just like in the movie , Mississipi Masala, where the Indian dude thought a black guy was trying to rape his Indian girl friend and started to fight him.

In the West, Chinese and Indians seem more concerned with dating white people, rather than each other. On the other hand, Chinese-Indian couples are quite common in Singapore and Malaysia.

Bad. They threw rocks at me , chased me around and yelled racist slurs.
But the neighbours nearby were ok. The ones that were mean usually lived no so close to my place.

However that was a very long time ago....I left India when I was a kid and can only say a few words in Hindi.
