mmmm yummy!!!! I've only had it once or twice at the vietnamese restaurant down the street... but I'm not sure how authentic it is seeing the restaurant is owned by thai's who add extra spices

i've had it before and it's pretty good.. i'm not sure whether it was authentic or not either.. i've had it from several restaurants and a couple of them were owned by chinese ppl

since I'm viet I'll give you guys some hints.
do not eat pho at a restaurant owned by a chinese or thai. lol. Would you go to an american restaurant and order french food? no. And even most pho shops owned by viets are not good either, and that's because they use too much MSG. I have no idea why in the US, the land of plenty, one would use that muc MSG. I hate eating pho that has a lot of MSG, it's sickening. The best pho are typical home cooked by some old traditional viet woman. So find yourself a vietnamese friend with an old mom, and begged to be invited over for dinner! Personally, I'm kinda sick of pho myself becauese I've beening chowing it down a lot lately. I'm in the mood for some spaghetti now. |

You can get bowls of Pho at most asian stores. Just add some hot water, let it sit for 3 minutes, then serve. I haven't tried it yet though.
