Yeah, I love sweet potatoes. I like them boiled and plain. Mmmm mmm. I also love sweet potato fries and sweet potato chips. Those are delicioso! I don't know what yams are, but I don't like them. Sweet potatoes are so much more awesome. Yeah, okay, that's all I wanted to say.

i thought yams and sweet potatoes are pretty much the same thing. but yeah I love yams in my curry.

I dunno if they're the same thing or not, they're probably cousins or something. Sweet potatoes are way better.

I think in the US some people refer to them as yams, they're not the same thing at all though.
I like both but I tend to need quite a lot of sauce on yams as they're quite dry. And on a random note, I  plantain.

Sweet potatoe chips are <3. Trader Joe's has a banana chip that kinda taste like sweet potatoe chip so I just substitute it with that sometimes.
