QUOTE guess the second photo on the last link si your sister, she is beautiful. what dress she was using? is that balinese or javanese? No the girl wearing the balinese dress is not my sister... my sister is the one who is alone in the last link. QUOTE you stay in paris? have you try jakarta bali restaurant? Yes, i was born and raised in Paris... but i haven't tried the Jakarta Bali... actually, my mom is good at cooking indonesian food. LOL, according to her, the food served in this restaurant is good but not famous enough for the price... However, the reastaurant itself is beautiful with a nice design and there uses to be javanese and balinese traditionnal dances perfomed. Moreover, the food is made in function of the french customers who can't bear too spicey food, whereas I love spicey and tasty indonesian food... But I plan to take some friends there not only for the food but also the indonesian atmosphere and smells (you know, people smoking kretek etc.), the traditionnal dances etc. In fact, the customers are french, overall. Indonesians who want to eat "real" indonesian food come to the embassy where there are a lot of typical indonesian meals sold. This post has been edited by Garuda: Jul 21 2004, 11:31 PM |

Absolutely !! I don't remember where exactly but i'm sure it's from sumatera. Actually, the dress she's wearing is a "modern" version of the traditionnal dress, wore at indonesian parties or events which needs a certain "traditionnal touch" but elegant and modern enough. ( For marriages etc. )
