I dunno, but I believe it could be U.S. Northwest, since it's usually filled with white people and they all probably have lived their lives never seeing anyone who is black, asian, or hispanic. Yet I also probably might think it could be Southern states, since it's filled with rednecks and racial gangsters. What do you think?

umm, my answer: DEEP SOUTH. the depp south, btw, does NOT include texas. although IMO texas is a bad place for anyone who isn't rich or mexican. |

There is now a growing amount of Filipinos moving into Texas. I bet pretty soon most of the Asians in Texas would be Filipinos by 2020. Yet I frequently visit the Texas countryside, and yet all of the "white rednecks" seem to be interested in me and they talk to me. I dunno maybe they're just curious what it's like being Asian I guess. Plus 89% of Texans consider their state part of the deep south. I think the North-Midwestern US, despite mainly filled with Whites is pretty much not a bad place for Asians. Mainly because the Whites in that region are more educated and are less bigoted. I'd still say either the Pacific Northwest or the South, because the Whites and Blacks in those regions aren't exactly smart. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Considering Texas and Georgia almost have the same culture (e.g. Chicken Fried Steak, Southern accent, country music scenes, etc.). I'd say probably not. Plus Texas was once part of the Confederacy, like the Deep South was once was. So the "real" Deep South and Texas are petty much 99% almost a like, so Texas culturally may be part of the Deep South but geographically isn't, and that's what fools people. |

I'd still say either the Pacific Northwest or the South, because the Whites and Blacks in those regions aren't exactly smart. I'm white and I live in the Midwest; I agree with you pretty much. There are ignorant people here, but they're not the hateful, angry type really that you might encounter in a lot of areas in the South (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia [outside of Atlanta, maybe sometimes inside, as well], Louisiana and Mississippi are known to be particularly bad spots in terms of racial intolerance). And just in general, it's important to note that things are a lot different in terms of the types of white folks/black folks/etc. that you'll encounter based on whether you're talking urban/suburban/rural, in the same way it would work if the situation were reversed for a white person like me in an urban/suburban/rural setting in a country like Japan. Rural folks tend to be the less educated, and as a result of which less-informed (and unfortunately, usually more intolerant of different people). |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif) Deep south IMO doesn't evne include Louisiana. It's just MS, AL, GA and maybe SC. |

to be more specific and based off personal experience.... Washington, PA (about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh). I lived there for couple months and i had to move because me and my siblings were treated like $hit. The adults were fine. its just our age group at the time, 15-16 year olds.

^ Really? I though PA was such a good place to be in if you're treated like crap in wherever you are.
Man can't believe we have a 1 vote for the Middle Atlantic. |
