I still haven't bought that book, Malaysia: A Pictorial History 1400-2004 by Wendy Khadijah Moore, but I'll get around to it eventually.

It's definitely worth getting - it's a great book, not just for the photographs but the informative text as well.

If you're interested in historic pictures of Malaya, another good book is "Malayan 500 Early Postcards" by Cheah Jin Seng...

http://www.amazon.com/Malayan-Early-Postca.../dp/9814155985/

It's a big, full-colour "coffee table" book of 280+ pages, showing postcards of historical buildings, people, landscapes, etc. with descriptive text about each one. There's also a "500 Early Postcards" book for Singapore and Indonesia.

Thanks for the information.
But I can feel the money leaving my credit card already. icon_neutral.gif
After shutdown work is finished, I should have some spare cash.

BTW From checking out that link, I have found out that postcard collectors are known as "deltiologists".

Mesothelioma, like all other designs of cancers, can be separated into two vast groups: benign and cancerous. Benign mesothelioma means non-cancerous tumors developing usually from the pleura (cell lining about the lungs). The main difference relating to the benign and the cancerous form is that the former does not necessarily spread to some other tissues. However, the symptoms of both benign and the malignant form would be the same and it's often difficult to distinguish between the a couple of except through lung biopsies. However, less than 10% regarding cases of mesothelioma are usually benign. In half on the cases of not cancerous mesothelioma, there are no symptoms at all. Patients may learn of the disease by way of routine X-Ray scans of the lungs. In the other half, benign mesothelioma symptoms include: chest pain, chronic cough, and fever. However, the most distinguishable characteristic would be the presence of clubbed fingertips. This arises pozycjonowanie stron in the event the blood oxygen level falls producing distorted angles in the nail beds. Benign mesothelioma remedy is comparatively easy. It involves removal in the tumors surgically. Patients must keep have regular check-ups in addition to chest x-rays in order that the benign mesothelioma does not develop in the malignant form. Malignant mesothelioma is the commonest form of the sickness. This type of mesothelioma may be further classified into the location where the malignant tumor arises or the kind of cancer cells developed. Classification into the venue of the cancers gives three varieties of mesothelioma cancer: (i) What is mesothelioma: this arises inside protective lining and the cavity of the actual lungs. Most of the symptoms related to it arise due to the build-up of fluid involving the chest cavity plus the lining of the particular lungs (named pleural effusion). This results inside difficulty in breathing in, shortness of air, persistent coughing, coughing up of blood and a fever. This is the most typical form of mesothelioma cancer malignancy representing 75% of all cases(ii) Peritoneal mesothelioma: this is the particular development of cancer within the stomach and the abdomen. The cancer usually starts within the abdominal area in addition to spreads to other parts of the body. Symptoms are due to the pressure of the tumor within the stomach and the actual abdomen, causing abdominal pain, swelling, loss of desire for food, vomiting, breathing problems, anemia and tons of other indicators. Peritoneal mesothelioma is the reason 10-20% of mesothelioma cases. (iii) Pericardial mesothelioma: this affects the lining of the coronary heart cavity. Symptoms pozycjonowanie stron include torso pain, shortness of air and palpitations. This is the rarest kind of mesothelioma, representing less compared to 10% of cases. Another way in order to classify mesothelioma is through any type of cancerous cells that arise. There are basically two varieties of mesothelioma cells: epitheloid and sarcomatoid. Epitheloid cells arise inside lining of the actual organs only. The chances connected with survival are greater with this sort of cancer. Sarcomatoid cells will be more difficult to treat since it affects secondary tissues for instance bones, muscles, cartilage... etc. This type of cancer rarely reacts to any sort of treatment. In cases where both sorts of cells arise, it is called biphasic mesothelioma.
A work conducted by an prestigious institute of management suggests that flash game players could be more alert than his or her console counterparts. The study was conducted to weigh the result of non-commercial factors upon buyer purchase behaviour. The experiment consisted of a survey designed to kind two age cohorts of game players subdivided in two categories flash online game players and console participants. Both cohorts consisted of two focussed groups, one relating to players of flash communities and also the Prawnik nieuczciwa konkurencja other to those who seen as being console players. A causal experiment was then designed to determine the responsiveness of the gaming groups in terms of 'time to response'. Experimental observations were conducted for the two age cohorts along with extensive metrics between players of the two groups. Experiments to gauge 'time for you to response' ranged from basic multiple choice pre-exposed Q&A, wherein the candidates were allowed to run through question banks previous to testing, to logical reasoning and also analysis. The objective was not determining the accuracy of the answer but 'time in order to response' fairly accurate. Interestingly both groups from the respective cohorts patterned unique distributions for parametric examining. 'Time on Game' seemed to fit into a record lognormal curve for flash games whereas a gamma challenge for console games, this startling fact generally seems to suggest that flash video game titles players gain more exposure to variety, whereas their console game counterparts may very well get thematically stuck. Logical reasoning and research, and basic math have been also structured and administered in the szczepienia dzieci causal analysis to further strengthen evidence. The metrics were standardised to nullify intelligence factors as well as the 'time to response' discussion established. The implications of this particular are significant effecting each developer and player. Although the flash gambler spends the same timeframe playing, as a console gamer, the very fact a flash game is structured to become a mini game and offered in abundance, motivates the player to test out different games thereby lowering the time spent using one game perse. The domino effect is interpreted with regards to a larger experience from the 'spectrum of creativity', benefiting a larger group of game developers. This is in stark contrast towards the console player whose manufacturer and thematic loyalty is actually imbibed with inertia acting to be a barrier to change. It is during a new transition of themes how the console player exhibits thematic listlessness. Secondly a lognormal probability distribution characterises a getting thinner long tail, if this is a sign of gaming addiction, then we may surmise in which flash games are less addictive compared to their console counterparts. In a nut shell it seems like fair to conclude that flash games players just might be more alert and this can be attributed to the conditioning of 'time to response' in a environment which is not necessarily thematically stuck nor enslaving.
