For me it's the Dakotas/Minnesota. The weather might be cold, but the people are warm and friendly. It's the part of the country with the nicest people, hands down.

For me it's either California, the Midwest, or the Northeast.

The places I've visited, in order:
LIVE-AS-FÚCK 01 Alaska 02 Puerto Rico 03 Arizona 04 New York City GOOD 05 Hawaii 06 Connecticut 07 Massachusetts 08 Tennessee 09 USVI 10 Florida 11 New Jersey OK 12 Washington D.C. & Maryland 13 Washington 14 Michigan 15 Illinois (Chicago only) 16 Texas (Dallas only) 17 Kentucky 18 Ohio 19 Colorado SORT OF OK 20 Georgia 21 Pennsylvania 22 New York (Upstate) 23 Nevada BAD 24 California Anything that isn't 'good' or above pretty much sucks. The people in these states general have a really $hitty stereotypically yank attitude and I can't stand them. Tennessee was such a pleasant surprise LOL. California can kiss my chank àss though. Capitalism at its finest. Everyone there is either filthy rich or dirt poor. It looks like I'm in the Philippines or some $hit. This post has been edited by ham_let: Nov 19 2007, 02:07 AM |

Been there at least 10 times where I've only been to Eastern Pennsylvania a total of... 0 times. Infrastructure is really ghetto and so are the people. Just to clarify, I've only been to Ohio once. Wasn't exactly sure where to put it tbh. Anywhere from 14th to 21st. But I've been to California at least 5 times and it's always the same. Well, variatons on a theme, actually. Sometimes it looks like South Africa, other times it looks like Honduras, Moldova, Serbia etc. Just depends on the ratio between ballin' homes and homes that look like they were made in 7 seconds. |

It rules on an unexpectedly high level, especially those 24-hour sunlight days. The biggest. The biggest. KKZ, 1. Arizona is the $hit. Don't hate. 2. California is $hit. Hate. 3. Yeah, you know what? fu-k Hawaii. Alaska is on top. The Asians in Hawaii are incredibly snobby. Laid-back my @$$. The only friendly people there are white people. And it's full of obviously newly landed Filipinos that act like they don't speak Filipino. PSCH! fu-king Ilocanos think they're so hot and $hit... If they can't speak Filipino all it emans is that they never went to school as children. Ugh. Same thing in Cali. Always pretending that they only speak English even if they have the thickest accents on earth. No, Maritess, you have not 'perpekted di ingglis langgwayds'. LOL. just goes to show you how much of an imprint illegal immigrants have made. now, i say illegal and not 'mexican' because chicanos have their own weird $hit like 'holmes' or 'ése'. hahahaha. Dude, get to know them. If you're not one of them, they won't stop going on and on about Texas and Texans. Despite the fact it's so damn nauseating, they don't even realize they're doing it. They're like friggin Punjabis.
