How GAY tolerant is singapore these days?

I am curious to know how tolerant is Singapore towards homosexuality these days?
What is the legal status of Homosexuality?

The government has said that it will encourage homosexuality to be in the government service. It's officially acceptable to be homosexual basically in this country.

No, it's not illegal. But scoring gay sex in public spaces are illegal from what i know. But there's lots of bars and clubs catering for gays here and there's even a gay pride parade i think.... not sure???

Phillipines. I remember watching a vid where the current president made a statement about same sex marriages. He was trying so hard to maintain his composure. embarassedlaugh.gif He wanted to explode ! ! !

I heard from an Interview with Ian McKellen (Actor) that when he was Singapore doing a stage performance he went to some good Gay Bars...although he knew that being gay was against the law in SG and he said he met some great guys and such and such...

there are only a few gay bars in Singapore but the top prize must go to Thailand, i think

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that anal sex is prohibited as is oral sex if you're not married.
