Dude, you sure do sound familiar. Is your call sign "Amekhmer"? Dith Pran is a witnessed to the Khmer Rouge ginocide. He is not the only one, I am one of them, and Makara and many people here in this world who do not wish to identify themselves. The Khmer Rouge soldiers killed many Khmer people in Thailand.

Well, we might have met in CF. You sound familiar too.

No, my sign is not "AmeKhmer".

So what, if many people do not wished to be identified. The Tribunal court (ECCC) got tons of witnesses
to testified. They have a hell of a time figuring out what to do with them.

And indeed KR killed Khmer everywhere East, West, North, and South, you name it.

So what is your point, mate? Can you let me in on it?

chakra, there is two ways to kill a person: directly or indirectly.

Directly means you plug the poor soul with a 22 yourself or hire someone
to do it, although the latter maybe argued as an indirect killing, but it is
not important to do it here.

Indirectly means you brainwashed people to died for you, just like Lon Nol
brainwash a bunch of people to died for him.

It doesn't matter how you look at it, mate, dead = dead, and when you causing
it, you are a killer. Get it?

Furthermore, because it is an indirect killing, the victim dead time is not predictable,
but soon or later, they will followed their teachers, just like in Lon Nol case.

Darned kiddo, are you trying to work me to dead or something?

Okay, I'll just give you some brief because I don't want to spend the rest
of my life on this stupid post, alright?

As for Lon Nol , I have a hard time remembering anything good about him.
His worst crime was to send his soldiers to war against a well trained enemy
on an empty stomach...

As for Pran, I never heard he had anything good to say about Cambodia.
I understand Pol Pot was a surprise to all of us, but we have lot good things
in our culture that is priceless if you take the trouble to look for it. He has
no right to overshadowing it by the US culture. I don't care what he's doing
with himself, but nobody playing with my culture and my ancestor's wills.

Having said that here's some quote for your goddess:

QUOTE
He was "the most patriotic American photographer I've ever met, always talking about how he loves America," said AP photographer Paul Sakuma, who knew Dith through their work with the Asian American Journalists Association.

QUOTE
He also compiled Children of Cambodia's Killing Fields: Memoirs by Survivors (1997). Pran was divorced from Ser Meoun, who survives him together with their children. He is also survived by his second wife, Kim DePaul, and by his companion, Bette Parslow.[17] [22]

That is enough, otherwise I am going to puke all over my PC.

Stop pushing your luck, Kiddo!

Okay, the good thing that Pol Pot did was eliminating people like Pran and Lon Nol.

And I can't thing of anything good that Pran and Lon Nol had done.

Thus, Pol Pot was right, "to keep you is no gain, to kill you is no lost".

Pran is not Cambodian national hero nor zero. He's a normal guy, okay. However, what special about him! Is that he brought attention of US citizens to the observe what WAS really happening in Cambodia and he set up his holocaust awareness project to educate people about the danger of anything similar to the Khmer Rouge Regime... ISNT THAT ENOUGH?

That is useless, my friend. Everyone already know torturing and killing is bad, just as
a hot inferno is bad. What should be learning from all this tragic is what causing it, or
what causing the inferno. Without such knowledge, there is no guarantee that the
atrocity will stop.

Accordingly, there is nothing special about the moron (Pran). Get it?

Well, I don't have any problem with Khmer people.

I only have problem with non-Khmer or non-Indochinese
who think people who believed in voodoo is stupid, and
I wanted to tell them, "That that is not so", and those
people don't know what "Kru Trub" is, but I do sign
out as "Kru Seul" now and then. Just too lazy sometime
to sign out, I guess.
