if it came to a war between china and usa which in its self is unlikely, i doubt less than half of those "allies" on either side would be there when trouble starts.

Its the NATO law. You attack one country, every country supposed to help. I think theres like 26 countries in total. I dont know about communism though, I think they are the same way. Remember, the world is nuclear now. If this war ever starts. NONE of us will have a bright future....
