Really!!!!! Central thai are claiming that they have a hard understanding Lao dialect, which is closer to Tai Lue dialect. Viengchan dialect are much closer to the Tai Lue dialect, but not the central thai. There are whole bunch of Tai Lue living in the Northern Lao, and they can understand Lao almost perfectly. I don't believe you a bit, you have too much thaification in your head. I was in Sisongpana 8 years ago, and i was able to communicate with them with out the translator helps.

Well i think they can na only ifthey willing to make effort. But yeah rich @$$ act high society ppl might play dumbo anyway. Those ppl dont give so much care for culture, dont you mind that kind of ppl. Still not all Thais act dumbo na have some faith 555. Nong Erla she do speak Lao dialect too Buddhalove.

Oh you even went there before. Well even if i havent yet go there i know that Tai Lue have many similatiry like Tai Yuan in Lanna too. But Dai have more Shan influences, you can see it by the clothing of it. Well Tai Lue is part of Tai Luang group. No surprise there.

If any lao have any problem understanding the lue language they wouldn't be lao . How can any lao not understand what she said in the music video . Even a 4 year old can understand everything she said . I believe the majority of northern Laos speaks that way .

I have no problem understanding it at all only some words pi-nong Dai use it a little different. Well maybe i think what older ppl will completely understand each other but the younger generation (mine) dont understand a few words. Overall i think i will have no problem understanding with it, some word are easy to guess though. All i know i can speak kam muang with them like you guys can speak Tai Viengchan at them.
