This summer is going to be the first time I'm going to spend a significant amount of time in Korea, as I was born and raised in the U.S. I'm going to be in Korea from the end of May until the end of August. I have no friends in Korea, though a few of my university friends are going to be there in the summer as well. I'm just worried that the summer is going to be complete asexual, as I will be living with my parents in a city in a socially conservative society. It'll kind of be like being 10 years old all over again! All my friends are looking forward to hanging out with their high school friends, hooking up with girls, etc. Meanwhile, I'll be holed up in some apartment with my parents for 3 months.
So my question is, what's the social scene like in Korea? |
