I don't really like Cyrillic script for writing mongolian (though it's easier for me to read, at the moment), but i guess it's better suited for usage on computers, since mongol scripts are written vertically.

BTW, the girl in that picture looks somewhat Korean.

Someone earlier said something about posting under Chinese issues? WTF? We are not Chinese, if anything the closest brothers we got are Russians, after all, we weren't independent from China until Russia helped us out.

I'm not for rap in any language, aside from a few humorous ones that i've seen they were all pretty bad to me. I do have a few morinhuur songs though.

Well, you're not Han Chinese, but there's Mongolians living inside China right now. Besides, as far as the Russians were concerned, they wanted to add Mongolia as part of their Russian empire (to take advantage of China's weakness).
In fact, the Russians had a plan for bringing parts of the Qing Empire under Russian sway, including Outer and Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Manchuria, and parts of Gansu. According to this plan, once Mongolia was crushed by Russian forces, they would initiate an uprising in Tibet that would allow Russia to annex the country.

Then to consider any of Eastern Russia russian is wrong as well, since there are many minorities there. Furthermore, the word 'Manchuria' wasn't really used until rather recent times. It was called Liaodong 遼東 in ancient times, Dongsansheng 東三省 during Late Qing and ROC, or Dongbei 東北 in PRC era.

Regarding the Sino-Russian history in that area:
The Treaty of Nerchinsk, which was signed on August 27, 1689 fixed the border between Tsarist Russia and Qing China as running along the watershed of the Stanovoy mountains and the River Ergun. The Amur river basin also was given to the Chinese.

About Russia and Tibet, I think that is just paranoia...

Actually, no. In what the Russians refer to as the Tournament of Shadows (a series of geopolitical struggles with the British Empire), the Russians did plane to exert their military force in Tibet. In fact, that race to exert as much economic force over all of Central Asia (Xinjiang, Tibet, Mongolia, Afganistan, etc) and parts of Qing China. In fact, the British had already sent in 1904 their own army to make Tibet a buffer state, but were repelled by Qing forces.

Wary of this, the Britain and Russia agreed to the Anglo-Russian Convention of 1907, and decided, "In conformity with the admitted principle of the suzerainty of China over Thibet [sic], Great Britain and Russia engage not to enter into negotiations with Thibet except through the intermediary of the Chinese government," ie, that China was indeed the benefactor of Tibet, and that the only way to establish a sphere of influence in that region would be to go through (possibly) multi-lateral talks involving both parties, as well as China.

It is too bad that Sino-Soviet relations have been bad in the past...In my opinion the Asian continent should unite, or at least parts of it...We should create an Asian Union to rival the European Union, including Russia, China, Mongolia, former Soviet states, SE Asia, Korea, India, Iran....
