I am currently in the AIU bachelor's program and I tell ya it's been just as much or more of a challenge than going to a tradtional. I went to George Mason about 10 years back. I don't get why people look down at such an option. The courses are tough must be completed within 5 weeks with group projects and ect to be considered. I'm getting my bachelors business project management in May and think it's well worth it.

It doesn't really matter if you think it's well worth it. Your employers won't think so. lol

If costs the same as going to the real uni, i would not perfer going online courses. I am okay with online degree. I think they should be the same as normal degree. |

from my point of view, there's a whole heap of advertisement of on how cheap it is in comparison to other actual unis plus you get your degree much faster. it seems like you're fast tracking your degree when in fact, university degrees contain $hitloads of information which is 3 yrs minimum so your knowledge of that specific field could be inferior to someone who spent uni for a good few years.
and i think employers see this. |
