Pointdexter, when you edit your post the Unicode doesn't show up on my computer. It shows up as a bunch of Latin letters with strange accents.

Maybe we pronounce it the same but Roman alphabets just screws it all up because khmer words and roman alphabets doesn't go hand in hand. We khmers all know it. |

Now it's split up to...kaet Pailin...kaet Battambang...kaet Banteaymeanchey. oddar meanchey was probably part of khaet siem reap. thewiseguy, your family from today's battambang or in banteaymeanchey? some people speak rodern in banteaymeanchey. |

LOL At least someone caught on to that. Yeah my Khmer friend was like "What part of Cambodia are your parents from?" I go "Khaet Battambong. You?" He goes, my parents are from "Ort-ka'dor mien chey LOL". I was like "There's only two mien chey provinces" LMAO.
