The IOC also announced on Friday the exclusion of Vietnamese gymnast Do Thi Ngan Thuong from the Beijing Games. She ranked 59th with 52.100 points in individual all-around in women's qualification on Aug. 10, and was later found to have taken furosemide, a fairly common drug among women in premenstrual tension. IOC chief medical official Arne Ljungqvist blamed her case on "poor information" for the young athlete who doesn't have the necessary knowledge regarding what is not allowed to take. Good job for a country that has no tradition in this sport and a country that has not allocated a great deal of monies into this area. By the way, she is the only Southeast Asian to represent in this sport at Olympics 2008. Way to go girl!!! a great journey must start with a baby step. You may fall but the most important thing is you pick yourself up and learn from that fall is what it all about.   I have never even heard of her before. lol i think Red_Alert is just trying to get back at nha le because he made a topic about the chinese gymnast athlete being underage
i honestly don;t care if she wins or loose lol because vietnam only sent 11 athlete to this Olympic lol it seems we don;t really care much for the olympics to put a lot of resources into training these athlete
