You can buy it frozen and ready to eat from VNmese supermarket, imported from VN for about 4-5 USD/ boxes. The trick is once you bring them home, you will need to heat them up, put more xả in + coconut milk + ớt.....to your taste. A woman told me that trick, and it worked great. LMAO look at the way he reacted when I said ốc len in Vietnam tastes better than the one imported to the US rotflmao.gif rotflmao.gif Phở in Vietnam tastes better than Phở in US, canh bn in Vietnam tastes better than canh bn in US, ốc len in Vietnam tastes better than ốc len in US. These are facts. No need to get so defensive.

This is a food thread, not a political thread. Get your ugly hatred out of here.

BTW do you know why frozen snails and clams in Vietnamese markets are sick? Because they have been dead for weeks and maybe even months pukeface.gif Yes they are frozen, but still the fresh snails and clams taste much better.

don't tell me phở in CA doesn't have MSG embarassedlaugh.gif You never know. Many restaurant owners in Little Saigon put a whole lot of MSG into their food, chẳng c thua g bn VN đu.

nhiễm or not, millions of Vietnamese and I still live after eating thousands of those snails and clams...and they taste way better than the ones in Little Saigon. Don't let your jealousy make you look like a fool embarassedlaugh.gif 100 Little Saigon put together still can't compete to one Bến Thnh market biggrin.gif

Ốc len in Bến Thnh market is the best beerchug.gif

No you're jealous of the country of Vietnam in general. Every time someone comments something nice about Vietnam or say some food (or any other thing) in Vietnam is better than in US, your ugly hatred reveals and you try the best you can to put it down. Like when I said I loved ốc len but the frozen snails imported to the US suck, you try to put down the ốc len in Vietnam with that comment about HCM's pool. This got into politics because you know so well that HCM is considered one of the great heroes of Vietnam (like it or not, he was a hero, accept that!) and honored by all Vietnamese. As I said, get your ugly hatred out of all my threads.
