actually no they can't. There's a thing called the geneva convention..otherwise you'd have sadistic assholes shooting hollow tips into civilians for fun or something

What a BS article. I need so evidence to back this up. The only atrocities documented during the war was Chinese army pillaging, vandalising and destroying Vietnamese towns.

Whatever convention only works if they are observed.
No one can do anything if the Geneva Convention is broken.

That's right, war is dirty and messy. And I bet anyone who has some basic 'common sense' would try their best to inflict as much damage onto the opposition as possible in times of war. Even if the enemy might have been disarmed already and offered to surrender, human instincts sometimes would persuade the aggressor to completely cripple the POWs so as to end any possibility of them shooting at your back when they seized opportunity to do so. Therefore I'm not really surprised at all by the physical 'disarming' of POW in conflicts.

Its a dumb rumor, Veitnamese don't do this kinda crap. However, during the Vietnamese war, hundreds of POW's were tortured or executed. All countries can do such things, and I'm not saying hina has never done these things, we're discussing about what the article is talking about, not how stupid it is because it says Vietnamese are bloodthirsty murderers.

BTW, you guys just assume we're BSing your Vietnamese race..and I find that already offensive.
