Based on his name he could be minang too, most minang like given their kids western name, very often.

btw you mentioned Nadine half chinese, why now her brother you mentioned half javanese?

where? I never said Nadine is half Chinese. I think its Purnomor said. From my searching in google, they always mentioned as half Javanese.

Chinese Indonesian usually like choosing Winata for their last name when Soeharto asked Indonesia born Chinese to change their name to Indonesian name. There are many Winatas are chinese.

Oh that statement, yes. Lots of Chinese Indonesia uses ‘Winata” as last name, but the statement that Nadine is half Chinese, isn’t mine.
