I have no idea then hamlet.
Maybe people just don't like industrial designers. A lot of CE is project management, is this the case for ID? |

A lot of CE is project management, is this the case for ID? Depends on your position I guess. Design directors make triple what the people below him/her make. People do not like industrial designers. That is the correct answer. QUOTE I didn't say your point was that architects earn less. My point is they earn more than industrial designers here. Over here architects > industrial designers but then that's not surprising considering it takes architects longer to qualify and the entry requirements for the degree are higher as far as I know. Ah. I offered a different opinion because I include people with a B.A.S. as "architects". They aren't, really, but you'd be surprised at how many BAS graduates don't get their MArch until years later. Thus 10-15 years as your definition of an architect, is not the same as 10-15 years as a designer. One is starting to get grey hair. Compare two younginz and (in Canada) they'd both be as poor as $hit.

"Back when I was on the B.C Lions, we had a ping-pong table in the locker room. So after practice I would just go work on my game. The guys on the team were like, "Hey Damon, you should go home to your kids." But I was playing until 7 or 8 o'clock at night. That's how my game got so tight."
