Itunes help..w/ iphone

I have itunes...and got an iphone 3g. Well, heres the problem....when i plug up my iphone to my new lap..and try to sync it with itunes...it says something about error and not compatible. I downloaded the 64 mb itunes version..but it says its not?


hm..

i need help..because i want to be able to add songs on my iphone...


so which itunes version do i download? ;\

did you download the latest itunes from www.apple.com? if not... download there... install and sync.
