Here they are, Korean female combatants of the ROK Army's 3600 member strong Zayitun Unit (means 'olive' in Arabic), sporting lipstick and slinging the ROK Army standard issue Daewoo K-1 light machine gun (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:http://img10.exs.cx/img10/2980/ksp6.jpg) (IMG:http://img10.exs.cx/img10/2296/ksp20.jpg) (IMG:http://img10.exs.cx/img10/92/ksp11.jpg) (IMG:http://img10.exs.cx/img10/8900/ksp21.jpg) This post has been edited by PervertBurger: Oct 13 2004, 07:33 PM |

I used to have a pic where a Korena girl was sitting on the edge of a boat pointing a gun... that picture was crazy. |

LOL, they look like regular women, not super scary like that lady in Shiri, the one that ate the bomb, not the main character's girl. Then again she was NK.

QUOTE how come most of the army chicks are so manly looking, oh btw, TKD doesnt work at all in real combat, That's why the TKD you learn in ROK Army is a heavily modified version to suit a typical hand-to-hand combat situation. The special ops version is called Teuk-Gong-Musul (특공무술), which is an amalgamation of many different martial arts including, TKD, Judo, Hapkido, etc. and it's been taught for over 30 years in the armed forces. The North Koreans themselves have also taken TKD to a whole new dimension in its combat applications. Their version is called Ho-Shinsul (호신술), and it is taught and practiced by nearly every member of its 1.1 million strong armed forces It'll work all right (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Maybe some of them lol. Have you ever seen TKD in a hand 2 hand combat between two combatants? Vietnam should prove it's useful This post has been edited by Adwaregator: Oct 14 2004, 08:17 PM |

During the war many VC commanders literally took a dump in their pants when faced with a Korean bayonet charge. Korean soldiers had no equal in fighting hand-to-hand, not to mention they were also professionals who knew how to best utilize all the tools of modern warfare given to them.
