Craigslist Ad for film extras and such, question Options

Maybe Ben can answer this if he's still around since he does work as an extra. I answered this ad on craigslist that asked for all types of people for some commerical and they didn't need to have and acting experience, or education in acting. Does that mean if I meet them, I don't need to bring any head shots and those stuff? Exactly what is needed for these things? Because honestly, I don't have that stuff.

If it turns out to be fake then I guess that would suck but I wouldn't pay for anything that asked for me to work for.

depends on what kind extra jobs you are looking at. Background extras do not need head shots or anything.. cause you're just background.. you probably wouldn't even see a second of yourself in the film/tv. Now if you're going for SAG jobs.. then you might need it.

I personally don't trust the ads that say they need all types of people.. The best and LEGIT ones are the ones that ask for a SPECIFIC type.

Heck if you're in NY and you see any looking for Asian guy... let me know lol
