Being a turk is like having a mental disorder, first they piss off china, then theyre breaking off relations with israel and america, soon their support for chechens will get them hostile with russia, its only a matter of time before tehy get destroyed, what we dont know is whether they will take japan korea and pakistan with them You do realize the Turkish, aka the people of Turkey, are not the same thing as these "Turks" in Central Asia? By coming on this forum, you show how incredibly ignorant you are, just like the Turkish themselves. By involving yourself in something that is none of your business, you are making people who would otherwise not hate Greeks, or care about the Greek-Turkish conflict, to start caring. I for one, after speaking with Greeks in the "real world" these last few months as well as seeing the crap you people post in the internet, have now come to see you as nothing but bigots. For years I actually felt sorry for the Greeks, and what the Turkish did to you guys. I actually got rather sad when I visited the Hagia Sofia, and felt it should somehow be returned to Greece. Not anymore. By actively hating a bunch of people that have never wronged you, I for one can now say that I view anything Greek as repulsive. Those Uighurs are nothing like the Turkish you might know in Europe. They are Central Asian, and culturally close to Iranians, if anything. It is a conflict between the Chinese and Uighurs, and nothing more. They'll resolve in their own time. It may be ugly now, but give it a few years. On the other hand, I now support the nation of Turkey is destroying and removing all vestiges of Greek history and filth from Anatolia. I just hope they get a chance to blow up the Parthenon again. Greek = Arab by another name! (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif) Hey, I just saw a pretty Greek girl in LA...No wait, no such thing. She was either Jewish or Persian. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif) This post has been edited by Atari400: Nov 8 2009, 01:08 PM |

Turkey's main contribution to the world economy are nail clippers? Thats sad. No, just that what you said reminded me of the only product from Turkey that I ever owned: a nail clipper that had "I (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/heart.gif) New York" on it. Sorry to go off topic here but For some strange reason, Atari's post can also be pictured as a fantastic response to Indian nationalists and contextualized from a Chinese perspective concerning the other infamous rabid feud - the China v. India debate. Because it somehows sums up very well some feelings as well concerning certain attitudes about China from sadly too many Indians - QUOTE By coming on this forum, you show how incredibly ignorant you are, just like the *Pakis* themselves. By involving yourself in *Tibet* that is none of your business *and fanning hatred and jealousy about China*, you are making people who would otherwise not hate *Indians*, or care about the *Indo-Pak/Hindu-Muslim conflicts*, to start caring. I for one, after speaking with *Indians* in the "real world" these last few months as well as seeing the crap you people post in the internet *about China*, have now come to see you as nothing but bigots. For years I actually felt sorry for the *Indians*, and what the *Muslim invasions* did to you guys. I actually got rather sad when I visited the *Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya*, and felt *that the resident Hindu peoples should be able to built their temple to their Lord Rama on that site*. Not anymore. By actively hating a bunch of people that have never wronged you, I for one can now say that I view anything *Indian* as repulsive. *What did the Chinese ever do to you?*. *The Tibetans are Central Asian, and have been historically closer to China*, if anything. It is a conflict between the Chinese and *Tibetans*, and nothing more. They'll resolve in their own time. It may be ugly now, but give it a few years. On the other hand, I now support the nation of *Pakistan* destroying and removing all vestiges of *Hindutva/Akhand Bharat* history and filth from *the Indian sub-continent*. I just hope they get a chance to *tear down the Ram Janmabhoomi* again. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/rotflmao.gif) (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/rotflmao.gif) (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/rotflmao.gif) If only we could pass an international law covering ugly, hairy, big-nosed, short, fat, smelly *Indian* women with Burkas! Hey, I just saw a pretty *Indian* girl in LA...No wait, no such thing. She was either *Afghan* or Persian. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif) Atari, don't take this as a parody of your post at all. I think your post is truly well said and you made some great poignant points. Hope you don't mind me paraphrasing. Imitation is after all the sincerest form of flattery. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) I am neither Han Chinese nor Turkish nor Uighur etc. but I just wanted to show how your points about bigotry can really reflect other contexts as well. As a sidenote, I have been to Ayodhya city and seen the Babri/Ram temple site during my travels to India. The problem with that comparison is that India has geopolitical stakes in Tibet. I don't think Greeks have geopolitical stakes in Xinjiang.

The problem with that comparison is that India has geopolitical stakes in Tibet. I don't think Greeks have geopolitical stakes in Xinjiang. Who cares about India, their nominal GDP is four times smaller than China's, their GDP growth in the last 30 years was never bigger than China's, India is a failed state, they have much more separatism than China and 665 million Indians still defecate in open. http://news.rediff.com/report/2009/oct/15/...-in-open-un.htm This post has been edited by CharlesDarwin: Nov 12 2009, 05:04 AM |

(IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) Thanks, I do try. On a side not, I had a really long post here yesterday, that the moderator "Han2" deleted for no apparent reason, and with no explanation. Oh, well... (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/bawling.gif) The problem with that comparison is that India has geopolitical stakes in Tibet. I don't think Greeks have geopolitical stakes in Xinjiang. No, they just pathologically hate anything with the word "Turk" attached to it. On a side not, I wish everyone would stop referring to the Uighurs as a "Muslim Minority", as though their majority religion is their sole identity, as opposed to their language, culture and history. I know it makes them easier to hate, but still... This post has been edited by Atari400: Nov 12 2009, 10:18 AM |
