Racism and war are primal traits in humans. Borders exist in the same way dogs or whatever animal pisses on specific points of land to mark their territory. Racism is like tribalism , when one tribe contacts another tribe usually their instinct is to kill them just like what ants do.

So, You lived in Japan for a while, have a Japanese wife, have half Japanese kids,have Japanese friends and yet you think whites are superior and more attractive than Asians. I can't imagine anyone who lives and works in a foreign country for many years NOT grow fond of the people and culture of that county - they become a part of that culture, it becomes their home. Such a person would not say such arrogant disrespectful things in front of members of that culture.

The way I see it, you are one of those whites who lives in another country but keeps to your own, insulated in a 'white shell'. I bet, you're in the military or several years out. Live on base in the residential section with the rest of the whites. Have only/mostly white friends. etc... etc... People like that have 'white's are better', 'your women want us' attitudes. You're the exact reason for the protest. Your attitude is why such a growing number of Japanese wants whites out of OUR Country.

There's obviously a misunderstanding that people have the impression I ever said whites were superior, which I did not. In fact, I believe I have said here, more than once, everyone is credited for their individual merits and accomplishments, not their race. I won't speculate as to why this misconception of myself has fostered, but only say it's truly in error. - I've lived in Japan on and off since 1989. I adore the Japanese people, and honestly respect them and their culture. I've also been to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Korea, and in each case, I've yet to run into a situation where I don't respect the people and the culture for what they are. Sure, I've ran across cultural differences that I personally couldn't live by in my own life, but as it seems to work for them (where ever that might be), I try not to judge it but rather accept that such is their way. - My own home is a mesh of Japanese and American standards/values/morals/traditions. As a family, we take what we like from one culture, just as quick as we dismiss what we don't from another, and with a combination of both, we live harmoniously in happiness.
I'm retired from the Military, I do not live "on the base", but rather in the Japanese community. The friends that I hang out the most with happen to be Japanese, Filipino, and even a man from Pakistan. All of us go out together (as well as do business together) and are respectful and well-liked in the community by nearly everyone we come across.
Obviously, whatever impressions you have of me are wrong. Just because I defend myself against racists doesn't mean I'm a racist myself, but rather someone not only proud enough to stand up against ignorance, but equally someone not afraid of the consequence of doing so. You're making far too many assumptions, and therefore showing your ignorance against someone you don't even know.
