well to be totally honest I know a few including myself that had really almost no pain....maybe like a small discomfort but when we talked about it, what helped was the fact that the guys we were with took the time to do things right...like waiting till u are fully aroused, taking it very slow, and overal worriying about how you felt ...so really I can't say it was at all bad....getting your ears pierced hurts more and that didn't even hurt lol
