Chinese, Japanese scholars agree on Japan's aggression Options

A group of twenty Chinese and Japanese scholars who recently completed a three-year joint history study have concluded that the Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945) was an action of aggression by Japan against China, chinanews.cn reported today.

The scholars, selected by both governments to conduct a joint study on related Sino-Japanese history, also agreed the Nanjing massacre was a large-scale massacre against humanity.

The joint research report will be made public next month, according to Chinanews.cn.

This post is not about bashing Japanese past mistake, but to show past mistake of imperialist adventure.

Wow @ having to gather a bunch of scholars and have a 3-year study on well-documented history that happened less than century ago to determine whether or not the Japanese were "aggressors."

Have the Japanese really skewed their history that much?

You do not understand the importance of this joint history study of Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945). The Japanese scholars acknowledge the aggression by Japan against China. They are not a bunch of scholars, they are selected to represent the Japanese and Chinese point of view of study of history. This is a big step forward for helping the victim of this war. This study show the sincerity of the Chinese and Japanese to work toward healing the scars from the past.
