Like caolucai said, most Chinese people don't say 口胶 anymore - since it sounds the same as "oral sex".
指环王 is what the Chinese officially use for "The Lord of the Rings". 保险带 is what a taxi driver told me to put on when I got in the front seat. I was like huh? put on the condom? (保险套) |

I've lived in China most my life and I haven't heard 保险带either, 安全带 is the most banal. |
