Differences in Commonly Used Terms (Mandarin), in Taiwan and China Options

I can assure you, Guangdong, Hainan, and Xianggang uses 魔戒, Xiang Kou Jiao(Gum), 安全带.

just that some mainland terms are very amusing, that's all

It's strange............I'm not a Mandarin speaker nor a Taiwanese, yet a lot of my vocabulary is the same as the Taiwanese standard instead of the mainland (with a few exceptions like 酒店, which I do use). Of course, I also use some vocab that isn't present in either Putonghua or Taiwanese Mandarin.

For bus, I use 巴市, and for taxi, I use 的士.

Chewing gum:  口香糖/口膠　(LOL)
Instant noodles:  泡麵/方便面
Bicycle:  腳踏車/自行車　(自行車 is not common in taiwan)
Supper: 宵夜/夜宵

Big Mac:　麥香堡/巨無霸
Filet O' Fish:  魚香堡/麥香魚
The Lord of the Rings:  魔戒(一,二,三部曲)/指環王
Gladiator:  神鬼戰士/角斗士
Beckham: 貝克漢/貝克漢姆
Seatbelt:  安全帶/保險帶　(are you thinking wat i'm thinking?..lol)

Chewing gum:在内地叫“口香糖”！！！！
还有SUPPER，宵夜和夜宵都可以说，我就2种都说。

以下2种说法我们都用，至少我所在的城市是这样！
Eraser: 橡皮擦/橡皮

Rubber band:是橡皮筋，我以前周围的小朋友都这么称呼。
Police: 警察/公安，其实我觉得内地人称呼“警察”比“公安”多得多。

[台北人]

Speech: 演講 / 讲话

Computer: 電腦 / 计算机

Restaurant: 餐廳 / 饭馆 (although both terms are used in both places, one uses the other more frequently from my observation)

Taiwan, ROC: 中華民國 or 台灣 depending on your political stance / 台湾省

我會過意 馬上回答：這條菸 肯定夠兇 小心還會咬人

大陸人得理不讓：就這個 就這個陰道啊（手指拼命戳著座位旁邊的音量跟頻道的panel）

組員忍著笑走回廚房 又是一陣哄堂 大家故意糗她“喂 某某 給我打開妳的陰道！”

陰道？？ 音道？
