I heard Miss Australia (see pic above) did the swim suit contest during the week and got automatic top 20 placement. I'm not suprised she did well (from internet votes apparantly) Oliva's body is awesome. How many hours in the gym do u think it took to get those abs!... Thats where caucasian models beat the Asian ones ... those long legs, femine curves and gym toned body ... I will post the results here when the competition is over.

Looked Miss Vietnam ,Tanzania should be at least in the finals last year based on the number of votes that they got thru sms but What happened to Miss Tanzania? She was ranked 4th in the SMS votes last year.
Miss Vietnam was second to Miss Philippines last year but only managed to get in only in the top 20.

But based in the pictures and some sites, Asians seems to be quite popular this year maybe because it is held in an Asian country.

Besides We do not have money to vote via internet ,sms or telephone since each call or vote is equivalent to about $2 or $3 dollars.

Good point Pok-nat - The asian girls have a higher profile because it is being held in China.  I think Miss Vietnam has very good chance too, I guess we must look at her competition tho.   It is not just based on looks, Rachel.  I know you think the whole world revolves around looks, but it does not.  See the bio next to each girl, that is taken into consideration. As is her interview!   Yes, they are asked questions and must answer to the judges.  Her answers are assessed.  Also their personalities are assessed during the week before the final night.  Girls with friendly personalities and those you get on well with the other girls get higher marks.  Looks are not everything in Miss World.  The prettiest girl does not always win, infact, rarely wins ... Lotsa reasons for this which maybe someone her can talk about ...

I don't think she's the prettiest Chinese girl you can find. But I don't think she is ugly. She certainly does NOT look white.

What is beautiful and what isn't varies from person to person. I know people who find fat girls attractive, most don't. The point is, it's a waste of time to argue with someone over who's pretty and who's not, which is why I didn't even mention anything about her beauty.

Radicals usually don't recognize themselves. Most Vietnamese welcome anyone into our forum, but there are always people who words presents themselves as an @$$ and an extreme nationalist. You are Huaren go hand in hand. Anytime ANYONE say something critical of PRC policy there is old Kulong ready to uphold the honor of the PRC, whether they're right or wrong.
