Asian-american women have more STD's than Caucasian women Options

Interesting article I found. It says Asian-American women have a higher rate of STD's than Caucasian women. And Asian-American women are 4 times more likely to have STD's than Asian-American men.

I don't know what this allmeans.

Over the course the study, Hahm unmasked some myths common about Asian Americans. She said, “There’s a perception that Asian Americans in particular aren’t practicing sexually risky behaviors. But we found that Asian American young women are at risk of high STDs. For instance, Asian American women had a higher prevalence of STDs than White women in both 1995 (10.4% vs. 7.7) and 2001 (13.5% vs. 8.3%). The incidence of STDs (not diagnosed with STDs in 1995, but developed STIs in 2001) among Asian American women was also higher than that of White women."

Moreover, the power dynamic between genders became immediately clear. Asian American women were four times more likely to have a STD than their male counterparts. “This was shocking,” said Hahm, “It was so much higher than the males.”

Part of it is partially naturally the fault of our ancestors.

Our ancestors treated women like objects and whores , our male ancestors were far too dominant. Our female ancestors are programmed to be whores for us , and being that we were never aggressively racist - we never instilled education to degrade and enslave other races or for our females to find disgust in other races. This is deeply engrained into our cultural psyche.

Along the way , other groups saw this and exploited the women seeing that they were obedient and ready to do whatever to please , they had never seen anything like it.

so true but i have to say it's so disgusting i don't respect asian culture anymore as i see there are deep roots of weakness there while those who had real strength aren't even noticed as such because they are so oppressed while the ones who conform are not as punished by it.

Not to butt in, but I would be very, very, very careful about how much stock you put into trusting Western statistics and research about minorities, and then judging Asian women because of it.

Coming from a group of women who have had every lie and exaggeration in the world told about them, I implore Asian men and women to take a critical eye towards information given to the masses.

For instance, I mentioned this in the thread about blk women, but apparently, minority women are about far more likely to be screened for stds than white women thus skewing disparities between the two groups.

What's dangerous about this is that because of racial assumptions (i.e. black/asian/hispanic women are whores), white women may be infected with stds but you would never know because they aren't tested.
Another factor is having private health care which means results of testing aren't required to be counted in national statistics thus further compromising a snapshot of STD breakdowns between ethnicities.
My friend works in public health and he's currently trying to publish his findings on information he has gathered from private clinics in the D.C./Virginia area and the results would blow anybody's mind! However, he's being caught up in ethnographic ethics committee red tape.

My point is this: I'm sure women of all races should be encouraged to be more careful with their bodies, but everything isn't always as it seems when it comes to data gathered on minorities. I won't go as far as to claim that "Da MAN" is trying to make everybody except for whites look bad, but a healthy dose of skepticism and having a research driven mind never hurt nobody.

In the meantime, everybody wrap it up, take your sexuality more seriously, be discerning in your partners and happy humping to all.

The records, from 2010, revealed that 71.3 percent of young black women were tested, compared to only 18.6 percent of young Caucasian women."
