Is it true that most guys prefer girls with long hair? Can u guys describe the hairstyle u like on girls?

I think it really depends on the girl. This is true with pretty much any facet of style, is it not? I think that in general, I would probably say that I do prefer long hair. There seems to be some reason why statistically most guys like girls with longer hair. Is it to show more characteristic to indicate that they're more of a female? And the reasons behind short hair?

There certainly could be reasons regarding instinctual mate selection behind it. Long, shiny, healthy hair tells a lot about the girl and her genetics, diet, etc. Short, scraggly, punk-ish hair could instinctually signal unhealthiness, bad diet, disregard for personal hygiene, etc. etc. I still think it's something I would judge on an individual basis, though.

Edit: I do like curly hair. I don't know why you say permed, though... people have naturally curly hair too (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif)

I just remembered something. So far, I know my dad likes short hair on girls (my mother, grandma and I). He says that it doesn't make you lazy, and that you seem more active, and ready for a run.

However..my younger brother when he saw Demi Moore with short hair in the movie "Ghost" ..he commented that she looks hotter now than back then. And that her haircut is like a boy. (I thought she's still cute then)

I hate short hair on women. I find very few girls actually look good with short hair. And even if they did, they would usually look just as good or better with long hair anyway. Oh, and by short, I mean above the shoulders....
