Uh yeah, I'm serious. Is this some sort of surprise? Imo, black people are the least racist.
Yes, I'm half African, but that doesn't sway my opinion in any way.



Black people are jerks, but they're not racist (not as racist as other) A black guy might call a white man honky, or an Asian guy the C word in his lifetime, but that's not because he's racist, it's because he's a big jerk. Black people are mean to everybody. But the thing is, black people don't sit around with their families and talk bad about Asians and whites or Hispancis. A black family probably wouldn't look down on their kid or worry about losing face if their child dated someone of a different race. A lot of Asians are racist/prejudice against everybody, even other Asians. Asian people are so racist that they don't even like other Asians. Whites are the same. A lot of whites generally have a disliking for other races. That goes beyond black people saying honky to some white guy on the subway. Whites, they always have something bad to say about other people including other ethnicities of white people. Always have some sort of misconception about other races. Ignorance and naivety. Ehh, just my opinion. Oh well, doesn't matter.

How does that make me ignorant? Because I think in general, African Americans are rather jerky means I'm ignorant or uneducated? Obviously I wouldn't have said what I said if I didn't have much evidence to back up my personal opinion. I'm so sick of people tossing around the word ignorant. You should have said "i don't agree with you, so i think you're stupid" That's more like it.

Institutional Racism:

According to a sociology class that I have studied in college along time ago, a racist is defined by 3 components of powers, mental racial prejudice, and discrimination (this is the actual act based on prejudice). Like whites exercised Jim Crow laws because they had the powers to. So whites were racists. Nowadays, blacks as a whole are not racists by definition above, they might have mental racial prejudice, but they don't have the powers to make laws and such to discriminate others. What about riots caused by black people? Well that's more like acting upon anger and frustration than being racist...now keep in mind that as human being we have all forms of prejudice, and it will be racial prejudice if we have this attitude towards a particular race, but most of us will not act upon such attitude...so if we do act upon our racial prejudice at personal/individual level and not at institutional level, I guess you can that we are racists at personal level. The important thing is we have to be able to recognize the motive whether it is based on anger, frustration, or racial prejudice...and look at cause and effect factors. I think we should employ rational observation and logical reasoning to look at the situation as a whole. This is my way of knowledge inquiry.

Any thoughts? Objections?

I understand that this thread got necro'd recently, but I'll give a response anyway.

To say that all blacks are racist would be an ignorant and to some extent, hypocritical statement. It's true that most hate crimes are committed by blacks in general these days, but that's due lack of education caused by the historical housing discrimination from the Civil Rights Era. Even as black families continue to move to middle and upper class areas, you can probably assume that the parents give less emphasis on racial sensitivity or discrimination, perhaps due to indifference or from the fact they have been discriminated themselves. Of course, hip hop culture has played a role in the ignorance of some black communities, like the use of the term no-homo to demonstrate the fear of being labeled a homosexual. It's rather ironic since LGBT and blacks stood together during the Civil Rights Movement.

It's really just due to circumstances that we see racial tendencies in many blacks. No single race or ethnicity has any more tendency to be racist than another. Asians are no exceptions by any means. East Asian countries like China, Korea, and Japan are full of racial discrimination and xenophobia. Any rational person would be disgusted by the way some Japanese view race in Japan today. Former prime minister Taro Aso once stated that Japan is a one race country. Tokyo governor Shintaro Ishihara said that Africans are less intelligent than others, and that French is an unqualified international language.

What if a white person comes up to you and say that "you asians are jealous of us because of our ability to succeed in society." Wouldn't you think of her as a racist? So you are racist. Admit it, it's ok some people just are.

People are jealous of each other in general, and anyone can be successful ( of course it depends what you base success as) but there are many successful black people in america just like there are many successful asians. And they sucess in things which many asians are not AS successful in. such as sports, entertainment.

I come across blacks who still blames whites for their misfortunes and are terribly bitter etc but as i said you can find racist people in every race.
