Thai people have no problem working with Lao.
Actually, Thai people in Thailand have been helping Laos since the first day communist Laos openned the country.
Only a couple of Lao yankees here who think they don't need Thai and Thailand. icon_smile.gif

Despite the fact that these Lao yankee hate us, we still want to help them and I even posted the idea of unification which I think it's the best way for Lao people to survive the next decades.

Thailand and Laos used to be the same country before the French came and spliited us.

Thai and Lao people in Laos should have no problem being unified into one country.

But for Lao yankee, they are just outsider, they need to be trained first.

They are too American to even adapt to Lao people in Laos, let alone blended with Thai.

They are too different from Lao people in Laos.

I only saw these yankee posting about Lao silk, Lao food, Lao tattoo, Lao etc. but none of them talked about the true value of Lao people, street people. How they eat, how they sit, how they squat, how they walk, how they clean their arse in Lao style toilet etc.

That's why I had to post this topic

How to be a true Lao from head to toe.

I have met many Thais raised in the USA and I can tell with absolution that they have no idea what it is like being raised in South East Asian culture and attitude. These people are Americanized with American views always wanting to compete and very little samaki. The women are not as sweet as their S.E. Asian counterparts but more like their American counterparts, pure number 12 grit sand paper. I grew up in Nonthaburi, Thailand when it was still mostly grass land and durian plantation and raised by common villagers from places like Kampaeng Phet, Ang Thong, Si Saket, Lopburi, etc....

You don't have to confirm people all the time that you are Thai.

It's too obvious.

Everyone "believe" that you are Thai already. icon_smile.gif

Jek are very smart. Look at how they colonized Tibet, and Xiangjiang. They are doing the same thing in Thailand. beerchug.gif beerchug.gif

Unfortunately I have to agree that Americanised Asians are sooooooo annoying.

American culture is unrefined to say the least and it shows quite well on those who are born or raised in that culture. No manners is one big problem I have with them the other would have to be the same problem most people around the world have with them. Their lack of knowledge about the rest of the world.

They only know about american ideals and beliefs and try to implement that on Asian culture customs and anything else they try to assimilate into their Ameritardness without knowing true facts behind it.

This can be clearly seen by members of AF who have no links with their Asian counterparts regarding any of the subjects that they try so hard to be a part of. It could be that subconciously they are trying to find out the truth about themselves but they are too stubborn/stupid to ask people rather than just making lots of noise and spreading false claims untill someone corrects them. I think this is the "crying out for help" situation that most kids go through.

Other members like Buddhalove doesn't have a clue about anything apart from focusing on the same 3 things that he must have learned from the internet. It gets old, everyone knows abot it already. Majority of garlee in Thailand are Laos. Srirasimi looks better than Laos queen (if there was ever such a thing still in existance in which case we will match her up with Buddhaloves mum instead which saddly falls into the first category. Bitter about his mums profession so he projects onto the Thai people lol). The jeks ar the ones keeping Laos alive with trade and tourist money. without Thai jeks Laos will not exist. Without Thailand, Laos people will all starve to death under crappy communist regime.

These are the facts dear people. Deal with it.

Hey, SabaiSabai. I heard you told Thai members that you are originally from Ratchaburi.

What a coincidence, I am a Ratchaburian too. icon_smile.gif

I live near Robinson Department store in Chom Bueng.

Where is your place in Ratchaburi?

Bang Phae is not a country side anymore, it's a big town now.

Even Central Plaza, the biggest department store of Thailand, has a branch there.

How long havn't you been back home? icon_smile.gif

No not more Asian. But we are different in behaviour and ways of thinking. I think its easier to class us as in a similar light to Hi-So Thai as the majority of Thai people any of us ever come across to influence us are Hi-So.

Even working class people are associated with Hi-So's in Thailand. Thats not to say that there arent people who are tid din. Though I think the biggest difference is that we know more about our own culture and background than americans do. There is not much need for us or british people to segregate racial groups. London is a BIG multicultural society, so people had no need to be different to fit in.

In american culture you have to "act like a" to be that thing. In English culture, they will put up with you whatever you are, just as long as you aren't disturbing the status quo.

My English is limit, I can't explain how to do it.
I wish I could demonstrate it.

So, could you please help me teach these Lao yankee how to do it with a plastic bowl like this?

Use plain English so that everyone can follow your instruction. icon_smile.gif

Just do it here and I will copy and paste it in my thread.

Thank you in advance.
