hey khmer folks gotta a question, what is salaw. I hear alot of words that have salaw. What does that mean. Is there a Lao equivalent?

oh yea we call soups tom or kaeng depends whats the ingredients
stews would be like awm or aw.

yes, lao bok la houng is pretty darn delicious if you ask me. very spicy and the flavor is just mmm...and i love spicy food.. khmer food is not usually spicy like thai and lao food. thai and lao food put peppers in everything they eat.
