^ Even though he was born in 1987, he's been acting for almost two decades. He's a decent actor. He's a tall skinny sophisticated flower boy type who just walked out of a romance manga. If a girl digs that type, then he is like at the epitome of it. His popularity bloomed in Asia with his hit drama 미남이시네요 (You are beautiful), which is gonna be remade in Japan. His character in that drama was very "Tsundere" that many young Japanese girls may find fun.

[2011][Live] Jang Giha and the Faces (장기하와 얼굴들) "TV를 봤네 (I watched the TV)"

He's almost like rapping and the lyrics make me chuckle.

Japanese reporter ask the reason of K-pop's popularity to British fan.

I heard UK's EMI Music who is Shinee's record label in Japan invited Shinee to have showcase at Abbey Road Studios that is famous for legends such as the Beatles and Pink Floyd.
This showcase was closed event because it was only for media and some related music vips but British fans came to Abbey Road Studios to see the Shinee.

A white English male SHINee enthusiast? Is it just me who find it...err "new"? embarassedlaugh.gif

So they have two versions of "Replay" now. It's a good groovy song.

[2008][MV] SHINee "Replay" (in Korean with f(x)'s Victoria)
[2011][MV] SHINee "Replay" (in Japanese with SNSD's Yoona)

And as usual, they made a dance version MV, too.

SHINee "Replay" dance ver.

And a funny review.

I haven't watched many romantic comedy movies. What about "Someone Special (아는 여자)"?

[2004] 아는 여자 (Someone Special)

Well, it's not really comic. Lee Nayoung just looked cute lol

The same director, Kwak Jaeyong ("My sassy Girl") also made a movie "The Classic 클래식"... yes, that's the name of the movie. embarassedlaugh.gif

There are many humorous scenes in the movie, although some parts can make you emotional, too.
It's a 2003 movie set in 1968 and 2003 and some flashback scenes may be confusing in the beginning. Over all, it's a very entertaining movie.

OST Movie "the Classic"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m52MiAtI7p8...feature=related

Synopsis

Ji-hae has lived alone with her mom since her childhood, when her dad unexpectedly passed away. Her mom is now on a trip abroad, and to wile away her solitude she starts cleaning the attic. There Ji-hae finds a secret box, in which her mom kept the memorabilia of her first love story of some decades past.

Summer in 1968...
Joon-ha is visiting his uncle's home in the countryside during his summer vacation. There he meets Joo-hee and falls in love at first sight. One day, the lovely Joo-hee secretly asks Joon-ha to escort her to a haunted house in the village. Happy and excited to be at her service, Joon-ha meets her at their promised spot. But in an unexpected storm, the two lose their boat and barely manage to return home at a very late hour. Joo-hee gets into big trouble for this incident and is sent back to Seoul..........

Thanks for the tip! I like my sassy girl mostly because of the comedy.
I've seen The Classic icon_smile.gif I'm not that into romantic movies either.. but I prefer Son Ye-jin in 'A Moment to Remember' (내 머리 속의 지우개) with Jung Woo-sung.. he's a great actor.

Another of my favorite is Guns & Talks 킬러들의 수다 biggrin.gif

Sounds like you have lots of knowledge about Korean movies. I agree that Jung Woosung is a great actors.

I don't think they are eyeing on the English language music market anyway.

Thai kids tend to be so pro at K-pop dance covers. I've seen many quality dance covers done by them. biggthumpup.gif

Have you watched suspense movies like Memories of Murder (살인의 추억)? If you like Won Bin's charisma, The Man from Nowhere (아저씨) is recommended. It was a big hit in the Korean box office last year.
