Hah, K-Chat is officially a trash can. 90% of the front page is filled with spam threads and this thread got invaded, too.
t-ara never seem to gel well as a group, maybe becos snsd is so successful in that aspect comparatively. they are ok to good in singing, but does not fare so well on dancing even after many years. individual wise, i do like jiyeon a lot becos she is really really attractive, although she often had this uncommitted, inattentive and tired look that invites occasional criticism. I guess T-ara's decent success can be attributed to their catchy songs more than anything else. Shinsadong Tiger has written many catchy songs for them. Individually, I think only Jiyeon, Eunjung and Hyomin are well-known. I have a feeling that Hwayoung will get more recognized than the other "unknown" members. Her twin sister Hyoyoung is also in a pop group.![]() IU performed these nice songs with a vocal teacher Tamtam. [Cover] IU + Tamtam "Slow Motion" + "1994년 어느 늦은밤" (One late night in 1994) She looks like a cartoon character in these photos. ![]() ![]() More Tiffany! ![]() ![]() [Cover] Tiffany "Stickwitu" This post has been edited by doggyji: Jan 19 2012, 07:43 PM |

"비오는 거리" (Raining street) by Lee Seung Hoon. It's a classic song from 1997.

Hah, K-Chat is officially a trash can. 90% of the front page is filled with spam threads and this thread got invaded, too. A few chats like Chinese & Filipino chats might persist for a year or more but AF as an active community of Asian members is over. My only regret was I never did succeed in revitalizing Jchat - my main reason for being on this site. Anyway, a few more weeks and there won't be a point to visit AF anymore. |

Why did the mod delete a few posts on this page while leaving the spam posts up there? Just because another forum was mentioned? So you delete the whole posts? ...... Are you at least trying to revive this forum then? If we don't even know when our posts will be abruptly deleted for an unclear reason, why would we spend time here?

I freaking hate that song.. It's a good song but I just can't figure out which song is sampled and it really annoys me. Just like T.O.P. song As if Nothing's Wrong. Sooo effin annoying grr. Anyone know who they sampled?? Help me out, it drives me nuts when I hear these songs. Anyway I like his slow jams: In My Bed One Same Other songs I likefrom Rain: My Groove Fresh Woman I (Garage Remix) Are there any UK Garage songs/artist from SK? I live for UK Garage/2-Step music, best music for clubbing!! This is my jam: Artful Dodger ft. Craig David - Re-rewind I wish it was y2k again! So Solid Crew - 21 Seconds Daniel Bedingfiel - Gotta Get Thru This Sorry for spamming some UK music :P I kinda got carried away |

BTW do you know what happened? How come the post count of korean chat and chinese chat went down so drastically? Did mods just delete most topics here? |

BTW do you know what happened? How come the post count of korean chat and chinese chat went down so drastically? Did mods just delete most topics here? I just noticed that. Maybe they deleted whole lot of old threads because of the limited server capacity? I just don't understand how this forum is being run. Some new posts on this very thread were suddenly deleted, too. This was Rain's last hit before he was enlisted. [2010][MV] Rain "널 붙잡을 노래" (Love Song) I freaking hate that song.. It's a good song but I just can't figure out which song is sampled and it really annoys me. Sting's "Shape of My Heart". Not sure about the T.O.P. song. Are there any UK Garage songs/artist from SK? I live for UK Garage/2-Step music, best music for clubbing!! Hyuna "Bubble Pop" DubstepThe hottest dubstep beat right there! I'm not aware of any Korean act that I would call "UK garage". There are too many subgenres of electronic music. This is a psytrance Korean club scene. Bio MechaniX I think dance pop and hip hop have been more dominant in Korean clubs. Electronica bands such as Clazziquai, Casker, Humming Urban Stereo, House Rulez and W&Whale have also become famous. House Rulez ![]() [2007][MV] House Rulez feat. Lee Yoon Jeong "Do It!" [2007][Audio] House Rulez feat. Yumi "집" (House) [2009][Live] House Rulez feat. Yoon Ji Ah "Music" (This is how they roll on stage.) [2010][Audio] House Rulez feat. Horan "달" (The moon) UV duo is funny. The producer guy is called Muzie and the other one is comedian Yoo Se Yoon. ![]() [2010][MV] UV "쿨하지못해 미안해" (I'm sorry I'm not cool) [2011][MV] UV feat. JYP "Itaewon Freedom" Muzie formed a project group MIX ASIA with Hanzawa Takeshi aka FreeTEMPO. [2012][MV] MIX ASIA "Hello Asia" This post has been edited by doggyji: Jan 24 2012, 07:34 AM |

Taeyang is very talented. Great dancer. So groovy.
[2008][MV] Taeyang "나만 바라봐" (Only look at me) [2009][MV] Taeyang "Where U At" 11-year-old actress Jung Da Bin performed IU's "You & I". It was cute but her singing was horrible. Jung Da Bin "You & I" This post has been edited by doggyji: Jan 24 2012, 02:57 PM |

Thanks my headache is gone! Now I remember Craig David sampling that song too ft Sting himself
err I don't like dubstep. I effin hate it. the 'dub' sound makes it so aweful to listen to. but that girl Hyuna fo sho is hawt!! Houze Rulez is actually kind good! thanks for the links Taeyang is very talented. Great dancer. So groovy. [2008][MV] Taeyang "나만 바라봐" (Only look at me) [2009][MV] Taeyang "Where U At" 11-year-old actress Jung Da Bin performed IU's "You & I". It was cute but her singing was horrible. Jung Da Bin "You & I" I agree, he's good. He has this Asian Usher swagger imo. His song Wedding Dress had a lot of radio airplay in several European countries. (I'm sick of it now haha) My fav is "Where U At" omg Jun Da Bin is cuuuute! WHEN SHE SHUTS HER MOUTH lol these are some of my fav songs by korean artists Soulman & Minos - When I Feel Se7en - Hikari & Se7en - Startline (both Japanese songs) Big Bang - Tonight Fin.K.L. - Fine Killing Liberty Sung Yu Ri ..omg came across a good song through those related videos! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuE69zXtYJM...feature=related It has this Wu-Tang clan vibe doesn't it? G-Dragon is pretty good as a young kid! |

Fin.K.L. - Fine Killing Liberty Sung Yu Ri FinKL was great. Back in the days when Jpop and Kpop Idols were much alike. I miss those days. FinKL - Pride ( I believe first single) FinKL - To My Boyfriend (this song is super cute) FinKL - Feel Your Love ( love the dancing on this, it also has a nice R&B groove) FinKL - Now ( has become one of their most well known songs though it really doesn't represent the vast majority of songs they made, still, great unique song) Seo Yeon - In Summer (a great song from the same time era, I don't know why I know this song. Maybe it was in a drama or movie. don't remember.) This post has been edited by chiuchimu: Jan 25 2012, 02:10 AM |

u will really gets stressed out if you r in a competitive and tiring entertainment industry like kpop's, being at the top at such a young age, and not having companion from a group or from a bf/husband. in fact IU expressed her worries when she soar rapidly in popularity... Yeah, i can somewhat understand what you are saying. She is a singer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ppmvKX9xTk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EI_Y1ABd0g...feature=related Oh, i remember her. thank you. I guess T-ara's decent success can be attributed to their catchy songs more than anything else. But there are some exceptions. some bands such as Infinite or Rainbow have pretty many catchy songs from Sweetune. but they haven't succeeded that much. when considering these, i guess success more depends on character/charm of each member in the band. do you have any good rain song? this song is awesome! How about this kinds of one? Rain - Hip Song She reminds me of infant Boa. pure and cute. and actually, that song was remake of DEUX's one DEUX - In Summer (1994) FinKL was great. Back in the days when Jpop and Kpop Idols were much alike. I miss those days. FinKL - Pride ( I believe first single) FinKL - To My Boyfriend (this song is super cute) FinKL - Feel Your Love ( love the dancing on this, it also has a nice R&B groove) FinKL - Now ( has become one of their most well known songs though it really doesn't represent the vast majority of songs they made, still, great unique song) I was a big fan of 'Lee Jin' from 'Fin.K.L.' back in the day. And also i was a big fan of 'Yoo Jin' from 'S.E.S' that was rival girlband for 'Fin.K.L.' in that time. Interesting thing is SNSD is successor to S.E.S (SM) and KARA is successor to Fin.K.L. (DSP) In 1990's, "S.E.S vs Fin.K.L." In 2000's, "SNSD vs KARA" I know there are many other big girlbands today. but anyway haha.. S.E.S - I'm Your Girl (1997) S.E.S - Oh my love (1997) S.E.S - I love you (1998) S.E.S - Dreams Come True (1998) S.E.S - Just A Feeling (2002) <= i like this song. and you know, one member of Japanese boyband 'V6' was in this MV. Sumpit is such a fanboy of Sung Yuri lol She was one of the cutest idols back then.
Baby Yuri doll. ![]() FinKL Yuri. ![]() Actress Yuri. ![]() I think "Blue Rain" was FinKL's debut song. [1998][MV] FinKL "Blue Rain" Interesting thing is SNSD is successor to S.E.S (SM) and KARA is successor to Fin.K.L. (DSP) SM has grown much bigger while DSP is still more like a mom and pop store. SNSD will appear on "The Late Show with David Letterman" (Jan. 31) and "Live with Kelly" (Feb. 1). I guess it's all on Tiffany's shoulders if they have to talk with David. I hope they don't perform "The Boys". This post has been edited by doggyji: Jan 25 2012, 08:39 PM |
